MGR's Emergency Mobile Medical Health Clinic
Our teams recently organised a mobile medical clinic at the Irsal Syrian Refugee camp in Bekaa Lebanon. We provided emergency medical assessments and medication to hundreds of refugees.
Now on its seventh year, the Syrian war continues to inflict incomprehensible levels of suffering on civilians, with hundreds of thousands of people killed. More than six million Syrians are displaced inside the country, while another five million have refugees having fled to neighbouring countries for relative safety.
Particular emphasis has been given to providing emergency medical relief & medical supplies. The crisis in Syria has resulted in mass casualties leaving us with an ever present need to get people the appropriate medical care and to ensure the injured have access to appropriate medical treatment. Muslim Global Relief has created the Mobile Health Clinic which is providing emergency medical care.
Syrian Refugees Winter Relief Programme
Provide warmth to Millions of Men, Women & Children through our Syria Winter Appeal Project. Syrians who fled their homes in search of safety away from the unending civil war and conflict will struggle to stay warm this winter.
Last year, temperatures in refugee camps bordering Syria fell below zero and millions of Syrian refugees had nothing more than makeshift tents to shelter them from the freezing cold.
This winter, more than 3 million refugees and another 6 million internally displaced Syrians will need emergency humanitarian aid. As temperatures begin to fall and the freezing cold of winter begins to set in, they are worried about how they will cope. Funds raised through Muslim Global Reliefs winter relief appeal will help pay for gas heaters, food and shelter that can bring them comfort during the harshest days and nights; for the oldest, youngest and weakest, this aid can be the difference between surviving the winter and not.
