The Rohingya Muslims in Myanmar Burma deserve your Qurbani more than ever! From only £90 we can distribute meat to tens of thousands!
This year, our Qurbani focus is on the minority Rohingya people of Myanmar (Burma). The Rohingya are a stateless Muslim minority group in Myanmar. The estimated 1 million Rohingya living in Myanmar have been subjected to systematic persecution and grave human rights abuses by authorities for decades. The recent conflict there has created a worsening humanitarian crisis. Over half a million families are in desperate need of shelter, food and water. More than 200,000 people have been displaced and over 460,000 people who have been affected by the recent monsoons.
Why Are The Rohingya Muslims being persecuted?
"Villages have been burnt to the ground, women raped, men killed and families persecuted" - Give Your Qurbani To Rohingya Muslims of Myanmar Today!
Over 100,000 now live in internally displaced persons camps with no freedom of movement or access to food, water, sanitation, healthcare and education. A report released by the International State Crime Initiative at the Queen Mary University of London has concluded that the Rohingya “face the final stages of genocide”. Since 2012, Muslim Global Relief has been providing emergency relief to those in camps near Sittwe, including rice distribution, basic medical support, tarps for shelter as well as animals, seeds and fertilizer to help establish more sustainable food supply. Give your qurbani today to the Rohingya Muslims of Myanmar and help us provide life-saving relief to these vulnerable children and families.
